Road Trip - Wrap-Up

Our Summer Road Trip is over.

We drove through a total of 15 states on our trip
across the country. There was something beautiful
and exciting to see every instant of our journey west.
(except Kansas...IMO only)

We saw the Serpent Mound in Ohio.
Incredible Landscapes of Wyoming
Salt Flats of Utah

in California:

Lunch and Wine in Napa
Cartoon Art Museum, SF
Renegade SF- Fort Mason

Musee de Mecanique in SF
Santa Cruz- Boardwalk (and Sea Lions)
Coastal Route 1- Big Sur

We stopped to dip our feet in the Pacific.
Caramel Apples on the Wharf in Monterey
A puppet interview at Renegade- LA

In addition to all the amazing artists, and cool
shoppers we encountered at the fairs, Jen and
I also met some other fun people.

In SF, we had dinner with Ben and Leeanna Butcher.
Ben and I talked "paper"- His love for the medium
was very apparent: LINK
Leeanna makes wonderfully detailed plush.
Both were a joy to meet! Leeanna's Work

In Santa Cruz we met Toy Expert and Comic Artist
Bubba Shelby where we sampled some local beers
and talked art.

Michael White of Fab-ri-cate put in a brief appearance
at Renegade LA- where I enjoyed my first Koji Burrito.
We also met up with artist/actor/friend Desira Pesta
who shared dinner with us at the Farmer's Market.

We raced back to Boston- tired and inspired.
I think this photo says it all:
